Dec. 7, 2017: Arnold Randall to Receive Motorola Solutions Foundation Excellence in Public Service Award

The Civic Federation is pleased to announce that Arnold Randall, General Superintendent of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, will be the 2017 Motorola Solutions Foundation Excellence in Public Service Award honoree. Mr. Randall’s distinguished career in public service spans more than two decades. As General Superintendent of the FPDCC, he oversees the nation's oldest and largest forest preserve system in meeting its mission to protect and preserve public open space for the education, pleasure and recreation of the public. Previously, Mr. Randall served as Commissioner of the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development and held leadership roles with the Chicago Park District, including Director of Planning and Development and Director of Legislative and Community Affairs.

This year’s award breakfast will be held on Thursday, December 7 at the Palmer House Hilton, 17 East Monroe, Chicago, beginning with a reception at 8:00 a.m.
