The Motorola Solutions Foundation and the Civic Federation are again teaming up to honor Illinois’ many outstanding public servants with the 20th Annual Excellence in Public Service Award. We need your nominations to help us identify the best and brightest non-elected government employees in Illinois. The call for nominations ends August 31, 2011, so email outstandingpublicservant@civicfed.org today and tell us about the state and local public servants who have improved government in Illinois.
The honoree’s accomplishments will be celebrated at an awards breakfast to be held in downtown Chicago later this fall. Twenty years of honorees include Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority Trustee Jim Reilly, United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Illinois Auditor General Bill Holland and many more.
