Mark W. Patoska
Mark Patoska joined the Civic Federation in early 2014. Prior to joining, Mark earned his Master of Public Administration degree from DePaul University. While attending DePaul, Mark was a scholar with the Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development, where he worked on transit-related research studies and best practices related to municipal development review processes.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Political Science from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. During his final year of undergraduate studies, Mark was elected to the position of 3rd Ward Alderman in the City of Blue Island, where he worked to improve the financial transparency of city operations and the health and livability of the town through “complete streets” and the installation of public art. In his free time, Mark enjoys exploring new trailways and waterways on his bicycle and canoe throughout the Midwest.
