Steph Moraes

Steph Moraes (she/they) joined the Civic Federation in February 2026 as the Development and Operations Associate. She is critical to the organization’s daily operations and engagement infrastructure, coordinating projects across all departments and focusing on cohesive, accessible workflows to support the organization’s mission.

A lifelong learner, Steph specializes in operations and logistics for nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the Federation, she served as an administrative coordinator at Chicago’s Field Museum, where she orchestrated international and local conservation work for the Keller Science Action Center. She also worked with the National Network to End Domestic Violence and developed educational resources for transitional housing and survivors living with HIV/AIDS.
